Fair enough. I'll keep myself out of trouble until the fateful day :-)

Honestly, both of you are right. BETA codes HAVE in fact become a pre-order incentive ALONGSIDE being a means to test the game. Let's be honest with our selves and admit that in this case it really FEELS more like a incentive when we SPECIFICALLY discuss the 360 BETA. Why take the chance of signing up when if you pre-order (at the stores that you won't want to cancel due to the fact you don't get an actual refund) you are guaranteed access. I'm honestly a half-full/half-empty kind of guy...but I really can't see two sides to this gimmick.

Because you should sign up for a pre-order for the rest of the things it offers, and because everyone who pre-ordered both on pc, ps3, and xbox had no idea until now about how these beta events would spread out. ( or at least for the last day when it comes to the pc side ).

Everyone had a fair hand in the pot, and this is why people should not pre-order just for 'betas' but rather they should look for the actual goodies that are provided with it, and / or to help show support for a game they like.

They've chosen that these should be proper dates, and its within their rights as you were never really entitled to a specific amount of time x.

This looks like the ps3 servers apparently need more testing then the Xbox servers. That's good news

As a gamer I look at xbox having a 2 day access is a good thing, where as PS3 needs a lot more.... looks like it needs more attention and work. I just sit back and continue to read the bickering on my lunch breaks.

P.S aren't people Thankful for anything anymore?
I agree with u i would just like an OFFICIAL comment as 2 why the difference.

To date, 360 hasn't really supported any MMO... so I really don't see where that "assumed" logic might stem from. oO
As of last week, the U.S. total pre-orders are higher on Xbox than either of the other platforms, even if it isn't by much. I don't know the global statistics, but for American gamers...

    Xbox - 28,836
    PC - 24,275
    PS3 - 21,426
I'm not Roman, so why should I use their numerals?
