If you call it a stress test it is a lie and we both know that. You never do the entirety of a stress test on a monday/tuesday... NEVER. Most people are at work, and busy during the week. The stress test will hardly push the servers and will be non-conclusive at best. At the same time you managed to insult at least a couple thousand people, how does that make any business sense? Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to be insultive toward you or the company, I like you all and the games, but I feel like something isn't be said to us.

I don't think Trion is stupid, the games you come out with are too good. So, sense I don't actually think trion is behind it, why exactly are we getting eggs tossed at us on prom night? Because that would be less insulting.

Agreed! Barely anyone can play (a lot) on weekdays, so don't expect to see the servers fuller than full. And that's what Trion wants right?

Seriously considering canceling my pre order of this game. It has been made perfectly clear that all they are interested in are being biased and shafting the 360. Next, DLC is going to be launched on the PC and PS3 weeks/month/s before the 360. A monday and a tuesday? Really? 8 AM monday morning, most people are gone to work already or are just leaving. Either than the people with no job and want to just sit there all day and night, there is not going to be anyone on the server to really stress test it. It'll be like the what the ps3 beta is going to be like and they got 6 days, deserted.

Well that's a kick in the gut for Xbox testers. Only 2 days? It'd make more sense for Trion to just do a week long event for every platform. But whatever, not like I was about to throw $100 at this game for no reason. I think I will downgrade now. Hell Bug statue is cool and all but all the digital stuff just doesn't feel as important anymore.

Please Trion extend the beta for Xbox testers to be a week long same as PS3. That's not fair in the least bit, it's biased, and I don't appreciate when companies do things like this. Equality for all! No platform bias!

I'd hardly call it escalation so much as a well informed estimate. I'd imagine the game will have a good bit more than a few thousand players. Given as how almost every response from xbox pre-orders has been negative, i'd say it's a fairly safe bet.

For those wondering why the Xbox crowd feels a little slighted, please consider:

1> Less than two full days of beta access that has been touted as a pre-order bonus compared to not only more beta time on PC (as well as 2 previous betas) but 5 days on the PS3.

2> The Xbox demo runs Monday morning to Tuesday night. Between work/school and other reasonable obligations (sleep, making dinner, important family stuff), that leaves little time to play. PC and PS3 are getting Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Even if beta were all of equal length that would be a massive disparity.

3> Tuesday runs significantly afoul of a massively anticipated release I suspect many here will be getting. This is a lesser concern and is primarily a priorities issue, but still one exclusive to the xbox crowd.


Please, Trion, an answer (and maybe some consideration) would be nice on this issue. Some of us are shelling out 150$ and would like full reassurance on our upcoming investment.

I still don't understand... You still bought the game, you were willing to give your money to the company based on what you currently know of the game and have seen. You have even bothered to post 566 times in this forum so Im willing to guess you want to play it... so whats the big deal? On the 2nd of April you can play it like everyone else. On top of that there's a beta which you can spend and hour or 2 to see whats its like. The beta for 360 is for 2 days! I don't care if you have a job you can defiantly find 1 or 2 hours to try this game out (you said you'd like a sample at least? well guess what 2 hours worth is more than most demos).

I preordered for beta access. I dont just blindly buy a game because people say its good. 1 or 2 hours is not enough to form a opinion on spending $150.00 blindly.

if you have the $150 to spend then losing it isn't such a big deal right? I've stopped purchasing the CE's of MMO's because they are typically full of crap and a waste of $$$. I can afford the $$ but would rather spend that $100 on dinner, thats just me though, you can do what ever you want with your cash.

I personally have beta'd too many games and every one I didn't play more than a month, Particularly the ones I beta'd for a while. I used to be 'beta guy' IMO imo it destroys the 'newness' of the game. Add to fact typically Devs DO NOT listen to their testers at all-AC2, SWTOR, AoC in particular-.

I'll purchase it, spend the $60; if I dont like it after a month then my 10-20 hours of play time/$60 is worth the cost of the game.

No need for the Console wars here. I can't wait to play this game on my Xbox since MMO's are scarce on the system so I'll enjoy it. A 2 day beta is a little short but you PS3 users better flood Youtube with videos to watch at work dammit.
