I've graduated from school a long time ago, And job only req 2 hours a day 7 days a week. BTW i'm not a fanboy of this game I will probably play it for a few weeks straight and then on and off a few times a month, Since I have ton's of other games I'm playing and would like to soon play. And seriously you filed a complaint with the BBB over a stupid game? That's pretty low. Also I thought the new aliens game was very good. I think you just need to learn and accept the fact's that life is not fair and is hard deal with it like every other person has to. Like I said before if your really that paranoid about this game is going to be so bad then don't buy it, nobody is forcing you to.

i don't have any opinion on this other than "you filed a complaint with the BBB over a stupid game". Herp derp, that's the point of the BBB. Or what, since it's a video game company the BBB just shouldn't exist for them, because even though gaming is a multiple billion dollar industry, "they are just games". Definitely a good way to make people think you have any idea what you are talking about... I mean hell, lets just get rid of the BBB, I mean, it's JUST food, who really cares if it's bad. You know what, lets just get rid of the BBB totally. No one has the right to complain about anything ever! Who cares if they are getting cheated and robbed essentially, no one cares it's just their money!

i would be absolutely fine with that, if it was a saturday/sunday i'd be happy. I'm not gonna lie i'm sure i'd have some sort of quip about how we got the short end of the stick, but it wouldn't have me actually irritated. The entire reason of the beta for me personally, was to decide between 360 and PC, I have the UE pre-ordered for both already, but with the timing for the 360 I won't be able to test it at all to figure out what i need too, which is really disappointing for me.

See, I'm in an odd position. I know for a fact I will get this game, and I will get the ultimate edition. I am INCREDIBLY excited about this game, but that's not why i want to beta it. in fact, I usually avoid beta's like the plague because i like that whole "new game smell". the only reason i'm beta-ing this is because of the multiple consoles, and being really torne between 360 and PC. because if the communication on 360 is bad, it's gonna kill it for me. I really don't want to have wasted 150 bucks on the wrong version.

The problem is the beta isn't a representation of the full game whether because its a cut off version or an older build we don't know. So it's a really bad idea to build off the beta gameplay for the full. Personally, I'm getting the xbox version since there will be a few more people on it due to it being the most accessible MMO coming out on Xbox live. For communication, it will be voice chat on guild, group, proximity and Party Chat. I feel that in the end many people will go to Party Chat to talk and adapt to a keyboard to message in the game while talking in Party Chat. Proximity sound really annoying though:/

Regardless it's still plenty of time considering the game comes out a week after beta end's.

You also keep thinking that EVERYONE here has already pre-ordered and is simply impatient....NO, that's NOT what's going on at all. No one cares when the full game releases...you are the ONLY person who keeps bringing that up.

When a company is intentionally spewing out false advertisement and demoing a portion of the game that looks far superior than any version sold and showing bits and pieces that were left on the cutting room floor is grounds for complaint to the BBB for false advertisement. You only work 2 hours a day? That's not work. Some people work over 40 hours a week, not everyone is as lucky as you and only get to work for 14 hours a week. When you leave your job for something better than dropping fries you will understand.

It's called I found a great job, and get paid 2x the amount as some 40 a week job fast food job. Ever think maybe it's because I make more an hour than the min wage? Also it's not false advertisement because there still giving you the beta and they never said anything about what time or day it was going to be on. The only way it would be false advertising would be if there was NO beta.

yeah im tired of getting a game looks good in video and on screen, but u pay 60 to 100 dollars for a game and it turns out to be a complete wreck. just like aliens colonial marines thank god i had a friend that had a modded xbox and i got to play it before i went out and shelled out 100 dollars for a piece of garbage otherwise i would have been complaining also to the BBB!!!!!!!!!

Sledge is just the community manager. I told him to look into it since people are canceling pre orders and are dissatisfied. I think this has to be with Microsoft honestly. They tend to have bogus rules. Their one rule is if an downloadable game comes out on PSN first it cannot be on XBLA. Thats why they did not rerelease some of the Oddworld games or the Back To The Future game from Teltale.

That's what my original theory was, but since there hasn't been any conformation on the forums, it's just a theory. Either way he should be able to find out why if he is the community manager. Unless manager for him doesn't actually mean anything. That's how it was when I was a park ranger, "ranger" didn't mean anything. It could have just as easily been "park trash picker upper grass cutter and toilet declogger"

And sadly Trion is being especially quiet. Trion has a huge opportunity on the 360 and they are doing very little to maintain their reputation with that community at this point. I'm sure they have a valid reason for running a 37 hour beta on a Monday and Tuesday that was promoted as part of a pre-order bonus when the PS3 is getting approximately 6 days. The 360 community has a right to know what this reason is however.

It is NOT an older build. Where do you people get this **** from? What you see in this up coming beta is what will be at launch. Minus last minute day 1 bug fixes.

It may have been said already, but there was way too much hate postin for me to read everything.

This is not a "Beta" per say as much as a way to hype the game and drive some presales. Why do you think they dropped the NDA? If you dont think you respective beta time is enough dont play. Anything you earn in there is gonna be wiped anyway.

Also I do see this as a PC centered game because PCs handle the changing game code better and with all the watch and surf stuff going on with the shows. They wanted to get everyone in on it so they set it up for consoles as well. Someone pointed out before that consoles are all the same so they dont need the same effort as a PC setup, they were right.

so in the end either play or dont, but quit whining.
