It's called I found a great job, and get paid 2x the amount as some 40 a week job. Ever think maybe it's because I make more an hour than the min wage? Also it's not false advertisement because there still giving you the beta and they never said anything about what time or day it was going to be on. The only way it would be false advertising would be if there was NO beta.

I make over min-wage and I still work close to 60 hours a week. But because your job is apparently so much better than mine you get to enjoy the Monday/Tuesday beta window and are happy about it. It is NOT an older build. Where do you people get this **** from? What you see in this up coming beta is what will be at launch. Minus last minute day 1 bug fixes.

So then it's a cut off limited version then, ok so that makes having a week beta sound repetitive.

And sadly Trion is being especially quiet. Trion has a huge opportunity on the 360 and they are doing very little to maintain their reputation with that community at this point. I'm sure they have a valid reason for running a 37 hour beta on a Monday and Tuesday that was promoted as part of a pre-order bonus when the PS3 is getting approximately 6 days. The 360 community has a right to know what this reason is however.

I know what you are saying 100%. That is what I tried to explain in the stream but I guess my point did not get across because it was more exciting to watch Greg and Elizabeth play the game. The best thing Sledge could have done is say we are looking into it.

The problem is the beta isn't a representation of the full game whether because its a cut off version or an older build we don't know. So it's a really bad idea to build off the beta gameplay for the full. Personally, I'm getting the xbox version since there will be a few more people on it due to it being the most accessible MMO coming out on Xbox live. For communication, it will be voice chat on guild, group, proximity and Party Chat. I feel that in the end many people will go to Party Chat to talk and adapt to a keyboard to message in the game while talking in Party Chat. Proximity sound really annoying though:/

That's my stance as well, but i don't want to be stuck with xbox if people can't learn to adapt to keyboard communication. MMO gamer's for PC are already very familiar with voice and type based chat. Xbox players that aren't really PC gamer's, aren't used to it at all.

i don't have any opinion on this other than "you filed a complaint with the BBB over a stupid game". Herp derp, that's the point of the BBB. Or what, since it's a video game company the BBB just shouldn't exist for them, because even though gaming is a multiple billion dollar industry, "they are just games". Definitely a good way to make people think you have any idea what you are talking about... I mean hell, lets just get rid of the BBB, I mean, it's JUST food, who really cares if it's bad. The BBB is for Scams and corrupt\fake businesses, And I don't really see how just because a game's servers are not working properly mean that's your being scammed? That's almost as bad as trying to sue Bioware over the Mass effect 3 ending like a few groups did just because it didn't enplane everything at the ending.

It may have been said already, but there was way too much hate postin for me to read everything.

This is not a "Beta" per say as much as a way to hype the game and drive some presales. Why do you think they dropped the NDA? If you dont think you respective beta time is enough dont play. Anything you earn in there is gonna be wiped anyway.

Also I do see this as a PC centered game because PCs handle the changing game code better and with all the watch and surf stuff going on with the shows. They wanted to get everyone in on it so they set it up for consoles as well. Someone pointed out before that consoles are all the same so they dont need the same effort as a PC setup, they were right.

so in the end either play or dont, but quit whining.

The consoles are nowhere near the same to each other. PS3 runs the CELL processor, meanwhile Xbox 360 is essentially a PowerPC. Oh and let's not mention the whole split RAM thing on the PS3. Yeah, the same. Oops?

No one is turning this into a console war. There is no reason that all 3 platforms should not experience the same amount of time and treatment as each other. If the beta is < 37 hours then all 3 betas should be < 37 hours. If a beta is 6 days then the beta should be 6 days on all 3 platforms.

They will adapt to it though! During release, you will see many prepared with the messaging system but when it gains fame and attracts casuals that's when you will start to notice messages going out at a slow pace. On DCUO, I immediately I noticed how fast I needed to get a keyboard for my ps3 so I bought a $5 USB keyboard. It'll balance out, the frustration will get to them.
