The *****ing in this thread over a beta test has me rethinking if I want to play the game at all.

If there is this much butthurt over the betta, how many whiney little snots am I going to have to deal with in game?

None, the beta but hurt will stop them from getting the game.

i don't have any opinion on this other than "you filed a complaint with the BBB over a stupid game". Herp derp, that's the point of the BBB. Or what, since it's a video game company the BBB just shouldn't exist for them, because even though gaming is a multiple billion dollar industry, "they are just games". Definitely a good way to make people think you have any idea what you are talking about... I mean hell, lets just get rid of the BBB, I mean, it's JUST food, who really cares if it's bad. You know what, lets just get rid of the BBB totally. No one has the right to complain about anything ever! Who cares if they are getting cheated and robbed essentially, no one cares it's just their money!

The BBB is for Scams and corrupt\fake businesses, And I don't really see how just because a game's servers are not working properly mean that's your being scammed? That's almost as bad as trying to sue Bioware over the Mass effect 3 ending like a few groups did just because it didn't enplane everything at the ending.

The BBB is not just for the above mentioned. It is meant to protect the consumer when a business doesn't do good on their word. I.E. in the case of Sega and Gearbox they demoed a Dx11 version of the first mission of A:CM. A:CM doesn't even support Dx11!!!

It may have been said already, but there was way too much hate postin for me to read everything.

This is not a "Beta" per say as much as a way to hype the game and drive some presales. Why do you think they dropped the NDA? If you dont think you respective beta time is enough dont play. Anything you earn in there is gonna be wiped anyway.

Also I do see this as a PC centered game because PCs handle the changing game code better and with all the watch and surf stuff going on with the shows. They wanted to get everyone in on it so they set it up for consoles as well. Someone pointed out before that consoles are all the same so they dont need the same effort as a PC setup, they were right.

so in the end either play or dont, but quit whining.

How is your complaint any more valid...at least ours involves a possibly pointless exchange of money (IE - people feel as though they never should have pre-ordered and now when they cancel it they don't truly get a refund)...........

technically it is a beta, as im sure they will be using the days and looking at numbers etc. hence why they are having it over different days for different platforms.

but yea i think alot has to do with marketing as well.

You only work 2 hours a day? That's not work. Some people work over 40 hours a week, not everyone is as lucky as you and only get to work for 14 hours a week. When you leave your job for something better than dropping fries you will understand.

The consoles are nowhere near the same to each other. PS3 runs the CELL processor, meanwhile Xbox 360 is essentially a PowerPC. Oh and let's not mention the whole split RAM thing on the PS3. Yeah, the same. Oops?
