I asked on the stream and people were more interested in Greg and Elizabeth playing the game. Sledge said he did not know why it was so short.

Try asking on the Friday stream. Wednesday is just a bit of gameplay, Friday is more Q&A. I'd bet Sledge is working on finding an answer and will pass it on if possible. We have to remember though that we aren't hearing from the people that make these decisions. We deal with the messengers.

Of course there is always the option of be patient and wait for what's coming. I have confidence we'll get a reason for why its so short if there is a way that the community team can tell us.

I was sure that I read, briefly, in the stream that Sledge said they were all two days... I don't remember now though and I was too busy playing to see it or it's followup.

The PC beta is only a little longer than Xbox's, so it's the PS3 beta that's the anomaly, not 360's.

Lets not forget that PC has been a part of the other beta events and consoles haven't and alpha is on PC. Which I am totally ok with because PC is easier to keep making changes to. And I personally don't care PS3 gets a week because maybe they have more problems but 37 hours during the week means most people on XBOX will probably play for a couple hours (2-5 hours is my estimate.)

Like I said in my post about 5 mins ago, I would be content if it was extended to only 72 hours.

I'm only going to use beta to just be able to download what needs to download so on release day I can pick up game and just play.

From the info we have gotten based on everything, it's only going to be a sort of demo rather than beta. You will most likely have to do a fresh install of the game when you get it on release day. That is physical copy on consoles though. Not sure how the pc is working.

I saw him post that too which was confusing because the info that we have contradicts that. It also seemed like they will not change the dates of the beta from what he said. They are pretty much set in stone.

Like i said before (few pages back) all i want is a good reason on why this is what the decided. If it has a good reason, i will withdraw my complaints.
