Defiance: Advanced Mission Beta 3 Details

As i have said,i don't really care about the beta i just want the game,but i do understand why some are upset.I think it is also clear from your response that the short time isn't on you (i'm pretty sure my earlier guess is about right).And like many here my PC just isn't up to the task (tried the alpha).But who came up with that idea,there is more chance of the xbox users having a ps3 than a gaming PC and using a ps3 invite still would have been a bad idea for both sets of users.One of the main reasons people wanted to try the beta (from what i have read these last few weeks) is to see for themselves how the game runs on the 360 so even those that can make use of the pc invite have no real use for it.They have had weeks of watching it run on pc and 1 video from 360 that was said to be from alpha to cover the problems shown on said video.

I think this may have got the growing mob to put there pitchforks down but only to pick up AK's instead.Also still a lot of confusion about the codes in the first place,a lot of your officialy listed sellers still have wrong or even no data for codes (credit for sorting amazon uk for us).I really hope and pray everything goes ok for the xbox launch because it would seem that people are losing faith quickly,and that doesn't just hurt your sales but it could hurt those of us that still want to try and trust you guys by lowering the community numbers.And after the events of today i have given up trying to get people on to this game with me,the beta was my one hope of that.

Wait, there's someone complaining about the PC BETA now........really?????!!!! Dude I got an invite to the other 2 BETAs for PC (but sadly mine is dated and I have no reason to upgrade) so you have no room to complain. If you didn't play them then that's your own fault for showing up late to the game. Honestly, I'm not *****ing at you when I say this...just excited at the notion that a PC gamer is now complaining as well when you guys had TWO PC only BETAs already.

He has a valid point though. There should have been an open PC beta weeks ago to be very honest.

WoW had a much longer open beta than any other game's that had beta tests. We all saw how successful it became.

couldnt said it better they r killing there sales on this game alot depends on this beta i have alot of friends on xbox live that was looking forward to this beta because i told them about the game and went and pre ordered the game and was looking to playing and seeing how it ran but now alot of my friends r backing out of this because of the poor marketing strategy way to kill a sale!!!!!!!

Actually, it's your opinion that the beta is open, officially it's still under a non disclosure agreement, by definition, or defacto, is still closed. doesnt matter how many keys are out, it's still requireing a key.

This is a legitimate question btw, but what about games that require a disc of the predecessor....those are labeled Open but I can't simply download it. Is it really all about the non-disclosure agreement?

Good job not reading my entire post....clearing said not *****ing at you. Fact of the matter is that you have no reason to complain...your TOTAL amount is still the same as PS3.

the only thing we xbox players can do is to play for the little time we have and then buy the game if we like it or not. personally i think this is a horrible mistake for the beta to only last 1 day. not only is it unfair for us xbox players but it is also like saying "LET THE CONSOLE WARS COMMENCE!". and also giving the xbox players PC codes wont do anything. if we wanted to play pc we would sign up for that in the first place and some people cant run defiance. BAD move trion, BAD move. My only concern for the xbox s that it has enough players in the full game. if players loose interest within the first month this game will fail on the xbox. I hope this won't happen.

I can't recall an "OPEN" beta that did not require some registration somewhere and usually a key is involved. OPEN means anyone who wants to can sign up and play. And they can do exactly that by going to one of the sites giving keys away. Theres no restrictions at all on this beta except a limit on the total number who will get keys and even that seems a weak restriction. The duration on the other hand is a total joke.
