I 100% agree with you right here. My friends are just going to laugh at the idea that they won't even really get to try the beta. I was really hoping to get all of us together and try it out together. To me this game looks like a 3rd person Borderlands. They, and I may just end up sticking to that. I mean, considering the co-op stuff is limited to 4 people. BORING! If that number is not bumped up to at least 6 or more I will be upset. Why is 4 the standard co-op number? Get over the number 4! The first developer that makes a co-op game that support more than 4 player co-op is going to win big.

Basically, I've described this game to my friends as a blend between Mass Effect and Red Dead, and they're all like What? But it makes perfect sense, you essentially have this RDR free roam that supports up to 1,000 players. But it's like Mass Effect in that there are co-op things you can do, it's a science fiction game. I've sometimes compared to BLands like I mentioned earlier.

But without a longer beta period, I don't think I can sell my friends on the product. If I can't sell my friends on the product I will be the only one playing it. Even though I will be 1 of 1,000 other players I won't have the shared experience with my friends that I was hoping to generate by getting them to play the beta with me for a few days. Having them being able to get early exposure to emergent gameplay may have got them to order a copy for themselves. I just don't know who was in charge of organizing this event but it's proving to be their last opportunity.

BAD move trion, BAD move. My only concern for the xbox s that it has enough players in the full game. if players loose interest within the first month this game will fail on the xbox. I hope this won't happen.
    Well said.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree...because now you're assuming these guys have so much time on there hands that they can do that. WoW is just on PC...not 3 separate systems.

I read the whole thing and it was an obvious flame @ pc gamers and me in particular for having the audacity to complain we got shafted just because XBOX got shafted worse. And we did not get 6 days. OPEN BETA is 2 days just like you guys get. Only thing worse is you guys get it during the week. I am glad SOME got to play the pc version early. Me and most others DID not and therefore for us it might as well never have happened.

Wow the 360 players really gettting the short end here. I've got mine preordered for PC but i know a few people who have it ordered for 360 and will most likely get a few hours in if any at all. Kind of pointless to even have a 360 beta for 2 days in the beginning of a work week.

I also bring up, if Crysis 3 is struggling to maintain a player base of over 1,500 people on Xbox Live, what happens to this game when it barely has a player base of 1,000 Xbox Live Players? I'm starting to worry that this is going to be another failed attempt at an MMO on the 360. This is something I have been a huge proponent of for years and have even submitted design documents to Microsoft on how to make a controller, smartphone/tablet app, and systems to make the 360 (and any future unannounced projects) a much more viable options for MMOs.

I had no worries before, but now I am very concerned.
