Im just tired of seeing scrubs complain about NOTHING. please aim for me in the game, i want you to just hunt me down. We both are on xbl... please aim for me i was mad bout the 40 hr deal, but seeing you scrubs complain made me realize that you have never earned anything, ever. Dealwithit. Buy it, dont buy it. Open betas wipe characters I'd say most of the time unless they are also part of a headstart. A tru open beta wipes characters. You still need a code to play in an open beta. There have recently been a couple F2P MMOs that were open to all who made accounts, but that is the exception, not the rule and not what has usually gone before.

Two, there are a TON of sites giving out keys, not randomly, for this final PC beta. MMORPG started with I think 20,000 keys. They still have lots. They are also just one site where you can get one. This is pretty close to the definition of Open Beta.

Most every beta I've done in the recent years for MMORPGs, once they hit open-beta all you have to do is make an account and don't need a code. Codes/invites only pertain to Alphas and Closed-Betas typically. oO Btw, none of the open-betas I've ever been in have wiped data, only closed.

Even if sites give out a million keys, each of those keys are still a "key" to "unlock" as an "invite" does the same (which to me still says "closed").

Are you all still complaining? Yeah I want 6 days but, after Sledge said I could get a free PC Beta code (Even though I already have one) I'm just going to hop over to the PC Beta after the Xbox Beta is over.

I just need to know if this ancient monstrosity can handle Defiance.

Semantics. An by that standard there are no open betas as they ALL require some form of registration before you can play even if its just a game account. This allso completely misses the point that XBOXERS and late coming PCERS got screwed over badly with this beta NON scheduling.
