They keep repeating the same tired argument of who a pc beta you can walk into at your will by just getting a key from a very well know site is somehow not an OPEN beta to justify the claim that pc got 3 betas when in reality the vast majority of pc players are getting short changed allmost as bad as the box. Meanwhile ps3 get 6 days including a weekend.

getting shortchanged what? I'm a PC payer, I couldn't care less about the beta time, when I buy the game I'll have hopefully years to play it. It's not like I'll be able to get ahead in that time period, since my progress will be wiped anyway. I'd rather take my time and enjoy it in one go when it's released, than gets bits and pieces, only to redo them later.

You cannot enter a beta 'at will' even if you can get it from a well known site. Once they run out of keys, you can't get in anymore, that is not 'at will'. Even the Trion team gave keys during the streams to join the CLOSED betas.

Edit: Example of open beta: GCI, when they had their open beta, they let ANYONE download their beta client to try out the game and play it.

Ctrain is either mental or too stubborn and self-righteous to accept their errors, ignorance, and being wrong. They even say "getting a key". As I said, yesterday I had this full discussion with them... if a person needs a KEY to unlock a door, that door wasn't open.

Simple facts are, Ctrain has ZERO grounds to complain. They got a FREE pc beta key and are screaming at the top of their lungs trying to discredit, devalue, and defamate Trion (over short xbox beta time while they are on PC [they saw others complaining and thought they could get attention too] and pre-order that they haven't even purchased)... when the simple fact is, they themselves don't even qualify for any of the things they continually cry about. It's like they think there's a pending class-action lawsuit in place. Ctrain is a FRAUD!

Ctrian will now call me a TROLL for pointing out facts and calling a spade a spade. I attempted to remain civil with them yesterday morning, afternoon, and evening as they continued to shed tears all over their keyboard and keep running the same circle-logic arguments... but holy crap on a stick... it's like they refuse to let anything sink in... or they don't want to accept it and are just looking to continue having something to ***** about.

That's the problem... he was posting same misinformation yesterday morning, yesterday afternoon, and yesterday night. They disappear, lay low, and when they think the coast is clear they come back and do it again... regardless of how much their posts get reported. Trench was even pointing it out as well. They run the same circles and will just keep coming back saying the exact same things over and over and over again knowing they're going to get a response and continuing to troll.

They keep barking from the roof tops how evil and horrible Trion are, and in various other forums have been preaching to others to not buy the game, and how he hopes they bomb and do horribly.

Had he actually purchased the game, he may have had grounds to complain, sort of, and he would be given some compensation, along with any others who feel "wronged". Bear in mind that it was not their choice to schedule the beta times on Xbox.

Trion is doing their best to appease everyone, they have great customer support, and produce quality products. People complained when the Steam pre-order appeared more appealing(lol), they happily offered refunds to anyone who wished to purchase from Steam instead.

Ctrain, seriously, if you put half of the effort into a cause people actually cared about........

Still no reason to push things too far and start too much insult slinging. Like I said, people can already point him that he's wrong. And people won't just cancel their preorders because he says so.. Even if he and his pals do out of self entitlement. There's still going to be plenty of people playing it, and it'll keep getting popular.

No point in insulting when you can just point out the wrong facts for people who.. somehow might still be looking in here. As much as he wants to go angry mode on people, he won't have much material if you just refute his baseless accusations.

Wow I straight up quoted the only post in this thread or any thread I recall using the word BOMB and totaly shut down your false claim. Rather then Apologize for beeing wrong you LIE about it. I can accept the first time was a mistake but after beeing proven wrong and saying it a second time your clearly beein intentionally dishonest.

I understand the anger here. But I do want to at least confirm what I suspect to be true that this game will bomb before I go elsewhere. Now don't get me wrong I really hope this goes off well if only so other companies try the transmedia thing. But if they can't even schedule a beta properly I have real concerns about the final product. And thanks to the beta issues I can't even expect to resolve those concerns without buying it. Which obviously is not happening unless I get some decent time in game before it ships. Even the pc beta is not nearly long enough to allow that. We need at bareminimum 4 days encompassing a weekend and 2 weekdays to avoid excluding as few paying costumers as possible. They bought a beta as part of the preorder deal and now they can't log in for but maybe 2 hours. Yeah I'd be pissed too if I had ordered for the BOX
