It is avaliable to any and all and DOES NOT require an invitation. Sure some did get invites and some pcers got tricked into buying a preorder for a beta "invite" that is guranteed anyway but the fact is that I got in without beeing invited by just getting a key from Mmorpg.com

Any and all can infact join this beta. Name one person right now who cannot get a key and join the Defiance beta for reasons under Trions control. You can't because there isn't one.

MMORPG has a limited amount.. true its a large limited amount, but its still limited.

Yep, but that's exactly their M/O. When they start losing ground on "Boxers", they jump to "what kind of beta it is", then usually jump to "Trion as a company and how they represent themselves", to "PC beta keys", then back to "Boxers". Think that's the typical rotation.

I dislike being called a boxer... Can we call us "Circles" (ie: 360's)? It's a much less aggressive term...

After seeing the quote UndyingKatana did of Ctrain, Ctrain uses the word "we" way too much.

Speak for your own damn self, once in a while. You seem to be the only Xbox player still trolling the forums arguing.

But I'm making plans to play the PC Beta as well, so I'm not as disappointed as before. It just depends if my PC can handle it. I can't even find the post to see if someone said my PC could handle it.

So if you don't care that your beta is shorter then everyone elses and on a weekday then why do you care for a reason? Oh and you can lose the profanity its really not neccessary in a civil debate. Don't like what I have to say then by all means ignore me but I won't stop because I have the right to post here as do you provided you stay within the guidlines. Not that the don't seem to be out the window in this thread anyway.

any and all who preorder receive a code so they can partake in the Closed (gasp there's that word) beta
. an open beta wouldn't require you do anything besides logging in

LOL, I know right. I still remember that post... I honestly felt like the girl scouts just tied me up, continually worked me over with a 2x4, and then took my wallet straight out of my back pocket, but only after punting a kitten down the neighborhood block... it seemed so strange, so out of place... as though the Twilight Zone had just become real. xD

Still fits the definition of a "large group" required to be an open beta. It doesn't actually have to be totally without limits. Actually I should get with Trion to fix the misnomer cause this is infact an open beta and beeing totally misrepresented.

Sure you can just go to MMORPG.com and grab a key. Not a pc player? Sorry bout your luck but it is a multi platform game and you don't have to get your pick of which platform to play on for it to qualify as an OPEN beta.

I really hope your Xbox red rings on you Ctrain, Anyways I know its being said before but Trion is living up to there end of the beta, And from what I know from my pal who has done the PC beta, the missions will be limited so the time we have with this next beta, if its capped like the pc it will be fine. I cant wait to break the game and look for bugs >
