No there not but its good policy to answer your costumers question whenever possible especially when its part of a grievance you have with them. They can go right on offering worthless remedies and highly vague explanations right till the thing launches but it will only hurt Xbox sales and by extension the whole game. You guys should be standing WITH the xbox players for the good of the game not against them. When theres no tv show and the game is all but dead in 2 years this kind of thing will be a big part of why.

Also the build on PC and the Xbox are nearly identical in function and code cause of the x86 architecture. So are they fix one they fix the other. While the PS3 is on a completely different architecture and most likely will need much more additional console testing. I mean from a business and technology stand point this type of schedule makes since. And while it's a good practice to offer your Customer's information the key word in your statement there is "whenever possible" in this instance due to contracts, partnership agreements, or who knows what else maybe they could not disclose the cause.

So slide up to some humble pie, read a book, and let us "Xboxers" worry about "Xboxers".

Actually I bought RIFT. Nice try though. Before you like OMG its no defiance I'd point out its called a relationship for a reason.

As for beeing the only one raising this issue I am far from it. In fact Its likely the players who made an issue of it outnumber those who did not that own XBOX. But the trolling and personal attacks have driven them away from the thread. I'm sure some of them did cancel there preorders though.

There are a few posts I've seen from Xbox owners, most who cared that much simply moved to PS3 instead which is great, less money to Microsoft. I doubt many, if any, cancelled their preorders over something so trivial. People bought the game for the game, they didn't buy the game for the beta. Trion has offered a resolution regardless for any who feel wronged. If they still aren't happy, they can go play CoD or something.

I ask you again: What do you propose as an acceptable remedy, if extending the xbox beta access period is entirely not possible due to Microsoft's suspected refusal to allow it? If you can't come up with an answer as to what you want, you can't be helped.

I really hope your Xbox red rings on you Ctrain, Anyways I know its being said before but Trion is living up to there end of the beta, And from what I know from my pal who has done the PC beta, the missions will be limited so the time we have with this next beta, if its capped like the pc it will be fine. I cant wait to break the game and look for bugs >

Back on topic though, the dates suck. They do. Despite what I said yesterday part of me wants to know why things are so weirdly set up, but at the same time I'm also past caring. There's a beta - even if it isn't what people decided they wanted it to be.

You mean ps3 on XBOX hate right cause I don't see anyone hating on PS3 or if they are it gets muted and drowned out by ps3 trolls and xboxposers who are only here to do exactly that because all there arguments have been shut down. I'm 99% certain it's due to Microsoft policy. You need a monthly membership to access network functionality on Xbox, right? They likely don't want testing carried out on active servers during peak times, as they'd have to potentially deal with service outages. Microsoft is a software company, their business model has always been about server stability and network integrity (LOL). They like things by the book and this is likely all they'd allow.
