Ctrain - I ask you again: What do you propose as an acceptable remedy, if extending the xbox beta access period is entirely not possible due to Microsoft's suspected refusal to allow it? If you can't come up with an answer as to what you want, you can't be helped.

I reject your premise that the Beta cannot be extended. But assuming that's actually the case then there really isn't one and they need to offer refunds to anyone who can't get one allready.

Wait, are you saying that since actual XBox players are speaking up to say that they don't care about the short beta and don't need someone to champion them, they're posers?

I am saying that its pretty obvious some of the so called XBOX players who came out with the ps3 crowd are not actually xbox player but just "posing" as one for the sake of strengthening there arguments. Not claiming its all of them or anyone in particular but I am sure theres a few doing it. Might even be some alt accountage involved.

Do I need to get the dictionary out again and give you the definition of poser? I never claimed to be an Xbox player. I never intentionally created that impression and I even went so far as to make it clear I was not even getting it on the box. That said I am an XBOX player in other games just not this one.

Just trying to understand his point of view. I may not agree with most of his posts, but I figure it can't hurt to ask for clarification when a fancy new word like 'xboxposers' enters the arena:-)

I'm 99% certain it's due to Microsoft policy. You need a monthly membership to access network functionality on Xbox, right? They likely don't want testing carried out on active servers during peak times, as they'd have to potentially deal with service outages. Microsoft is a software company, their business model has always been about server stability and network integrity (LOL). They like things by the book and this is likely all they'd allow.

That's an interesting theory, I somewhat like it as an explanation, especially given that yes, gold is required to play online games. Interesting interesting...

look at aaaaaall the happy Xbox players. Shed no tear for us dear friend... We have overcome far worse than this. We are a proooooud people and refuse to be shaken by beta length. We play Gears for Gods sake.

He's already insisted that even though it's a free bonus, it still counts as something they're owed, even though they are getting it, just not as much as some may have liked.

I cant wait to try out the mod weapons,change them and built them how you want, also want to find out ways into break them by making them super op :P
