It doesn't matter whether one service is subscription or not.. as there will always be a steady flow of people willing to pay for it. Its how MMORPGs used to work in the past anyway, and it worked very well.

i kno, but the fact of the matter is that people bag on xbox because we are subscription based, so they assume we wnt have the fan base that pc has

I know and don't get me wrong I understand but keep in mind when you mention a hack like that and the add in "maybe my subscription aint lookin so bad now" after it doesn't make sinces to me being that true you are paying a monthly and I do admit the xb360 service is good in a lot of ways I am not ragging on it. However to place that statement when Microsoft didn't care enough about its paying customer base to admit they had a problem to protect them and to pull down the service for any amount of time to fix this problem. Really bothers me is all, I am just saying maybe they should care more about the customer and less about there pocket on that reguard. However I do have a active xb360 account I just don't have my credit card linked to it anymore. I agree though it does suck on the xb360 time but then again I don't buy games for beta I buy them for a finished product so even if its only for a day as long as it works on release thats fine. Mind you I know its a MMO and I know there are going to be problems day 1 regardless of how much planning prep they do. Thats the nature of the beast so to speak with a MMO.

Ummm... you do know Microsoft got hacked also. The difference is they don't care enough to pull down there servers to admit they have a problem. Reason being they would loss money because they would have to give you extra time while the servers are down and being rebuilt. Compared to when Sony went down they admitted they had a problem and the game some free games. True the games they gave where there own games so its not like it cost them anything but still.

What's even more scary is Microsoft wasn't hacked only once... they continually get hacked, and as you state in your future post, just keep sweeping it under the rug... regardless of how much their paying customers lose in cash continually.

Edit*Basicly everyone gets hacked it just how they go about handling it is all I am say and specially when the service is a payed service.*Edit
