Obviously well be able to chat with people we party with through the consoles party feature. But what about open world chat? Will we be able to talk to other people freely or run by someone and here them ask for help if were not in a in-game party together. I always like the idea of an open chat system and being able to here everyone near you. Only downside would be people who own a Kinect sound like there in a fishbowl lol and the starting area would be a jumble of noise.
I agree, I like the idea of an open chat system as well. My league has purchased a TeamSpeak Server in case we encounter issues with the PS3 side.

I believe the 16 v. 16 can hear their whole team. Yeah there will be, but I'll spend most of my time talking in party chat and texting in the game.
it was a Q&A on the live stream yes it will be a proximity chat system but you can also do a clan chat in game or create a party through XBOX menu system so the options are great
