Buying the game thru Steam

Yes I'm wondering this as well. I pre-ordered the other day and I setup a EGO account here. But I like to know how steam is giving my account the items. Just for pre-ordering I should of gotten an email with codes for the base offer items right ? Plus I ordered deluxe so I should of gotten codes for them items as well.

You get that stuff when the game releases.

I have a question. If I ordered the standard edition from somewhere else, and I want to purchase the digital deluxe upgrade from Steam, is it possible to combine both on one Trion account? Is it even possible on Steam to just get the upgrade code? And lastly, would the Steam tier rewards stack with the preorder bonuses I get from the retailer I purchased the standard edition from? The last part is probably something you should ask steam, not Trion, the first question: It should be possible, though why don't you upgrade it directly through Trion (it's the same price)?

Because Steam is offering more bonus items (even if they have to be unlocked by number of people preordering it).

It probably should work. Usually steam clearly states "Need Base Game <gamename> on Steam" but in this case it doesn't.

Okay, I stand corrected, after today's two new arkfall codes (78 and 79)... now anybody who fully unlocks Steam pre-order AND has all the arkfall codes, will indeed start with FIVE vehicles!

What Steam needs to do is put a POLL system to see how many people are willing to pre-order on Steam if all 3 tier unlocks are going to be unlocked. If there are enough people who say they will pre-order then it might have a better chance. Because honestly everyone is complaining too much about the bonuses, telling others to pre-order elsewhere because the 3 tiers won't be unlocked. Like people have been saying, all DDE and SE are the same expect the retailer specific weapon. The only retailer I know that has a cheaper price is GreenManGaming with their 20% off code. Other than that all retailers are the same so I don't get why people are saying not to pre-order on Steam just because they might not reach the 3 tier unlocks.

Indeed and well said. Also don't understand why so many are caught up on the specific retailer-weapon. I mean, granted, each have their own style, but it's already been documented they'll pretty much just be starter weapons we'll all out-level soon enough anyways.
