Defiance - New Character Race Update! 4 - 15 - 13

This game is build solely around Customization.
I actually am starting to see a lot of people preparing to make a new character to do the new race.

i might after i get the last ego achievement

but with my char i can just pretend he is different and not human cuz he always has armor and a mask so for all i know im a Wookie

I don't see the point in adding more "races" if nothing sets them apart. The idea is to inject longevity and with no difference between species which in turn means the story, side quests and character build is all the same what is the point?

If true, and it is Castithan, then im happy-best choice for new race by far....BUT..as stated above, its going to be a problem i think..not too many will want to start a new charachter again.

Best option is to offer the ability of changing race/change customisation in the game store.3/400 bits to swap?

Today ( After New Global Update ) there will be an official Third Race for you to choose when creating a new character.
The new character choice is called "Castithans"
[ For those that are wondering, you cannot change the race of an already created character!]

ya i can see if the new race was released as the 3rd dlc that way alot of ppl may have hit the ego cap and would like to start over again so it wont feel like i just did this mission lame repeat repeat and repeat wont be exciting

Finally, my new Mains Race has arrived.

But then. i guess its a paid update to play one.. . and honestly im not sure if i want to sink money in Defiance... i mean, more than having brought the base game.

I agree with you. It would be a great option to play at least with your characters features. I for one was so excited on Game Day and after playing with the beta I liked the default better then I was making her look.. SO . . . I sorta hit default and am stuck with her default look ..
I was thinking this morning about making another and thought ouch .. Then I have the ordeal of keeping more then one current with all the goodies and what a drag that would be.

So an option to charge your character features and/or race would be the most convenient to try others without basically a reboot of your game.
