srsly though the recent popularity of bows in games, from tomb raider to far cry 3 to crysis 3 or w/e, is because of those two movies.
because neckbeard mlp fanboys watch them then want to live out their fantasies to be katniss in teh 75th annual hunger games in vadayo gaemz.

in any case, i think you'll find that the most recent tomb raider installment just may have been the first to have a bow and arrow in it.
