    Contracts/Rep = waste

So i spent time doing contracts to earn the REP points...well gotta say that i'm disappointed in the way those venders and the points work.

partially my fault for the assumption though.

So i had 100+ points for Soleptor so i decided to buy a MOD kit...well i got the mods (junk by the way) and then i noticed the # for the mods is 100 i was assuming that you needed 100 rep to buy the stuff well yeah REP points are like money and not a perma accumilating number... soo more or less i wasted a few days worth of contracts on junk. Gotta say, From now on i will not be worrying about contracts or buying the junk those vendors offer, well at least for a cpl of days lol

i'm sure i'll do more contracts and buy more junk but i know i'll just wait to buy a high quality AR next time... i'll use keys to get mods

I honestly thought that was a glitch. Your meter shouldn't reset if you're purchasing items with Rep Points, only your Rep Currency should be deducted.

Or maybe it's intentional and if that's the case, I guess I won't be buying anything from those vendors until I've maxed them all simultaneously.

Not to mention that the mod cache at the vendors is also random so your going to have to spend quite a bit of rep currency to get the mods you need for the specific gun that you purchased.

Talk about a lot of grinding but hey i find it pretty fun to grind especially since you know that you can get overwhelmed and spanked by even the mutants.

    So bummed to hear this.

Hope there will be a way save the rep, but spend the points.

Are the weapons an upgrade at all?

Some of the weapons have really nice synergies, but beyond that they're very typical for their categories.

I'm hoping that rep works like some of the other things in this game.

When I unlocked three EGO powers, then did a respec and unlocked two of those plus the forth, I accomplished the unlock-four pursuit item. Other things also seem to be accumulative, rather than requiring all of them be in the accomplished state at the same time to get credit. So I figure once someone has maxed their rep, spending the rep-cash shouldn't be a liability.

Not that I have more than 88 in any one rep so far, but I do have plans for later...

Hmm. That explains a lot. I thought I was just mis-remembering how much faction I had. I did the exact same thing. I will wait until I get to where I can buy a purple.
