Steam Pre-order (Question)

Can someone clarify how the Steam pre-order works?

I pre-ordered early because I read it as reward 1 / reward 2 / reward 3. It is currently at 17% pre-order...so everyone pre-ordering at this time are getting reward 1...and as they fill the bar to 2, they get reward 1 & 2, and once at reward 3, they just get reward 3.

This...this is correct, right? ^^;

i believe the bar has to be full for the bonus. at 18% as i speak

Just keep in mind with steam you can get the extras others won't be offering them and most pre-order things happen in the last 4-5 days before release so its still very good chance to get some of this if not all.

All this trouble with pre-order beta keys not being received and vague information leading to misconceptions is becoming really..just bleh. :/

I hear you there. However the beta isn't a big thing to me. Now the random extra goodies for the game I will play, sure why not, I mean its free for a game I will get and play anyways so I look at it as why not have a shot at getting more for the same money lol. If I don't get any of the other rewards from steam its not like it hurts me because I wouldn't have gotten them else where any ways. Plus, I like the sniper rifle so its all good lol.

Here I go again sounding like a broken record... we need coordination. Everybody whose on the fence for the Steam pre-order need to speak up so we can see what the numbers are. If Steam pre-order fulfills tier 3 rewards each Steam purchaser would start from the word go with FOUR vehicles!!! Seriously, that to me is awesome variety... as in other vehicle-based MMOs I've played, where I only have one or two vehicles and want a change of pace/feel... it'd be nice to have those four vehicles. (In-game standard ATV, Red Dodge Challenger pre-order bonus, Tier 1 reward Camo/Boosted ATV, Tier 3 reward Truck!!!) Along with the extra inventory slots and other awesome bonuses, how can you be on the fence about this, lol... they even have Deluxe editions for any that really want to go all out and fly high!

You get the top stuff on the list with the pre order. If enough people pre order (each section of the bar has to hit 100%) then you get that sections reward.

It would take a crap ton of pre orders to get the levels filled out. Even popular games like Tomb Raider and Bio Shock took months to get enough people

Also yes you can get a refund on the pre order from steam.
