Seriously. Yesterday I learned what they were, and in looking for footage of them I found some footage of said eighth race... patrolling within site of the Golden Gate Bridge. Animations, models, all that jazz. Almost as if another faction was stripped out of the game to be revealed later through the episode missions...! I expect their arrival will be unexpected by many if I'm right about that.
Well I've only just been made aware since entering this topic.

go in the game and look for yourself and there is nothing about the new race yet
open the intel window and there are a bunch of videos. they all have pursuits that needs to be unlocked first.
Are we talking about the audio logs that come from the pursuits, or are there hidden unlocks?
