Question for any GM (or anyone else who might know the answer)

Is it safe to assume that the only things tied to a retail copy pre-order key are a beta invite and exclusive weapon plus the challenger?

The reason I ask is that I pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition from Gamestop and entered the code that was on the receipt. My first one was invalid/illegible/already used, so I called for a second one. The one they gave me shows on my Trion account info as "Defiance GameStop Pre-Order X360. "

I just want to make sure they didn't give me a code from a REGULAR version of Defiance and hose me out of all the other in-game Ultimate Edition goodies. I'm assuming at this point all pre-order codes are the same for all three versions and just give you a vendor specific weapon+challenger+beta. I'm also assuming that the Collector's/Ultimate editions have different retail keys when you buy them to get the other bonus items that way.

    Can anyone clarify, please? Thanks.

Another easy way to tell would be if anyone else here has the Ultimate or Collector's edition pre order key entered. If it says something other than "Defiance GameStop Pre-Order X360*" I'll know I have an issue.

*Substitute X360 for platform of choice.

Yea, thats how it normally works. The code you got gets you the pre-order stuff the the CD-key gets you the edition items.
