This Is My Third Time Posting This. I Would Really Like Some Help.

Sometimes while i'm playing the game things disappear, such as the map, aim helper, chat window, etc...
basically the interface. When that happens I can still move around and everything, but I can't shoot,call my vehicle, use my ego power, etc..and it interferes with me finishing my missions.

Okay, now the situation has gotten worse. When I call for my vehicle sometimes it doesn't even show up or it does, but once I get inside I can't drive it for some odd reason. I have to get out, re-call the vehicle multiple times before I can drive! Also, It keeps saying I have a new co-op map, but when I go to see the new map there isn't one.

Is it my system (PS3)? My internet connection? A glitch in the game maybe?

Do the in game shops still appear, and do you still have random encounters? if not then its a connection issue as all those things are divied out server side. The car issue iv had several times from connection problems. Try unplugging your router for 2+ minutes and check to make sure your NAT is set to Open, which you can see from any computer connected to it.

The vehicle one you are probably getting in the passenger seat. Try standing about 3-4ft from the vehicle on the left side and getting in. I've noticed that if you stand too close to the vehicle it sometimes throws you in the passenger seat even though it doesn't even look like you are on that side.

I have this happen from time to time. Totally LAG, but not from my internet connectivity, because my service is fast. My suggestion, when you load up your game, wait till everything pops into the environment. I do that and I seem to lessen the amount of happenings by a good bit. The patch will hopefully address this.

It is not just you. The same has been happening to me on the PS3 since launch.
For example,
Car - today, I had to call it 3 times before it showed up.
World Loading - When leaving co-op or pvp, HUD is often missing and my character slowly pops in. Then suddenly all of this stuff appears - contract complete, ego rating. After that all loads, then the whole world and HUD displays.
Other Players - When others pop into a place, sometimes their heads are missing.

Drawing distance pop-in is horrible.

I cannot tell if this is due to lag or the software. I have not had problems like this with other games.
