Ok, so I just got the game today I played the demo and wanted the game but my problem is ever since I have bought it all I am getting is that 'the defiance service is not available please try again later'. I am in the Uk is there a problem with the server or what? sorry if this is dumb or there is a post already saying this but im new and confused and a lil annoyed I buy a game I can't play, oh and FYI my connection is a 60MB fiberoptic ethernet connected to ps3 so it's not my connection.
PSN is doing maintenance today so if you didn't log into the PSN account over the weekend you'll have to wait until the PSN maintenance is over. Check the Server Status page for all the details.
I find that really unlikely to be the problem seen as I am signed in and have been signing in almost every day for the past week and I assume that because I have logged in, in the past 5 days and I am online now it should not effect my gameplay atall... ?

Yes and thank you for the help but I read the page already, am I not getting something does this mean even though I can log in to PSN no one within the update scheduled can actually play anyway?
Well he would have to be online to get to the defiance service is not available message, I'm UK but not at home atm, otherwise I would check to see if I could get on and see if the servers are down for us.

you had to of logged in with the game before they started the maintenance to be able to play during it.
