As to the actual problem, you can pretty much only do what it says, try and wait a couple of minutes. That works for me when it does it, most of the times anyway.
I would really like to say I will keep this game but at this rate I think my only option is to take it back, I mean why is the world would I keep a game I bought with hard earned cash that I can't even play ? :/
A patch is rolling out in the next day or two, or three, that should fix server issues.
I would suggest holding on to it for a day or three, it's worth it.
I think the bigger question is why are you the only one who seems to be having this problem? If it were a server wide issue you'd see a million threads all screaming for the heads of Trion Worlds to be chopped.
Don't ask me why otherwise I wouldn't be posting this question here would I lol, and I will hold on to it till this patch and see what it does and hopefully get to enjoy the game ! Is anyone else actually having this problem on ps3 though just would love to know im not the only one?

I doubt it since it seems to be the servers.
And yes it does happens to me once in a while, though for me it goes away if i just retry or wait a few minutes.

Right I got home and logged on the game no problem, don't see why you can't.
