I can confirm it's determined by EGO rating. I'm about 4-5 main missions in and I have all of them.
Reading this, has made me wish Trion would add a long bow to this game, as a form of Bolt Action Sniper, or a new weapon of it's own, so I can enter a co-op with Mutant Soldiers, then shoot an arrow in all their knees. Then give an evil laugh as they all become guardsOriginally Posted by NeoDraven

More conflicting information..the OP said he beat the main missions and doesnt have all CO-OP maps. I have only beaten Act 1 and have all unlocked at 500 EGO so unless my game glitched it seems like its EGO not missions.
I had every co op mission by ego 600 while my main mission was still at take Von Bosh to the Consolat. I personally think it has to do with exploration or key repeatable area missions. i.e. the event at Diablo, port Stinson ect...
Stupid question time, where are the co-op missions and how do you do them? I just started playing and I'm an EGO 300 and have finished all of the mount tam missions and prusuits.
