I love this Game, I hate the LockBoxes

Even if the patch doesn't effect the lock-boxes, I'm still waiting for it before i buy any more. I love this game but i dislike waste.

Iv bought a bunch of tier 4's and 25+ tier 3's, iv gotten 4 decent purple items. That's It,really.( 2 of them handguns)

A bunch of Blue and Green (that i actually end up using because its all i can get)

Im all for the "rarity" of items but this is a bit ridiculous. Im hoping they at least increase the odds of getting a purple weapon, ill take that at this point. Any word on if there adjusting the lockboxes?

I don't believe so, atleast there is nothing about it in the patch notes.

honestly, I can work w/ any level weapon, except smg's. it's more about the type of weapon, not the level. I wouldn't even stress about higher level weapons until you max out your weapon's skills.

I think it is partly because they want people to use the store to buy lockboxes and bits, i'm of the same opinion i've not bought as many as you i don't think but i've capped keycodes 4 times and spent them on tier 2and3s and got 2or3 mods i made use of and 1 weapon.

Loving the game but i would much prefer vendors that just let you shop for the mods that we want and not the white ones but the greens,blues,purples etc i have about 150k scrip and jack all to spend it on.

Just a tip: its been worked out (by people that are much better at maths than I) that tier 2/3 are the best lockboxes to get because the probability of getting a higher rarity weapon is higher. That paired with the lower resource/bits requirement means I'd avoid tier 4.
Question is, where's the tier 1? It starts off at 2. Eh?

You could spend it on weapons at the vendor to green stuff to keys !:> lol jokes yeah it's gay but at least when you get a good purple or orange it's rare unlike bl1&2 must off found 100+ oranges lol

I swear to god moments after my last post I had two goes on teir 4 (75keys n 53,000 green stuff) and gusse what a bloody lovey orange sniper with like 8 bonuses on it lol wow can't believe that haha

I've been fine with lockboxes. I really only buy them when my keycodes max out, though, as I've found whatever weapon I'm working with (I like to change it up a lot) is fine to get through the mission, and I mostly solo and am by no means an FPS expert. The first lockbox I got was Tier 4, and had purples and blues. The next two were Tier 3, and I got mostly purples and one blue. The final one I got was Tier 4, and it had my first orange and some purples.

Edit: The orange sniper is the one I got, too! Maybe they did adjust the lockboxes, then? I just got mine last night.

Wow good stuff guys this helps alot. I think im going to stick with the tier 3's and avoid the 4's. Too bad theres no mention to tweaking the odds of finding purple and orange.
