The problem is people almost exclusively die during the phase when the hellion becomes vulnerable and during that time everyone is scoping while aiming up so nobody can see you on the ground. I have had 12 people stand around me firing up while people WALKED ACROSS MY BODY and my revive timer ran out.

It is a nightmare trying to get the 100 revive pursuit done in this current state of affairs.

I try, but everyone's too busy self reviving trying to get #1, just to get beaten out by the guys spamming Detonators... or my ARs if I'm there at the beginning of the Arkfall.

The only time I stay down is when I'm dead and have already used my self revive. If someone's right beside me, that's fine I'll let them revive me. But otherwise, I want to be back in the fight as fast as possible.

I actually find it more prudent to let someone else revive you if they're free: the next time you die, people might not be free to revive you. Of course, I don't wait more than a few seconds to see if people are free, but if someone takes the initiative to move towards me, I'll wait.

No they won't. People rarely revive others at arkfalls, at least on the pc.

i WONDER WHY.. everybody self revive and dont give us a damn chance.
