I've noticed this today and never before, there was a bunch of fireworks and there is also a bunch of lanterns all over the place, anyone know what this is about?

Where in the game is it happening?
Yeah, I found some laterns in a mutant camp. I lit them and they floated away into the sky. Nothing else came of it.
My guess is these are all for a celebration of the TV premiere tonight.
Likely related to the new pursuits, have not played yet today to check.
yeah these are for the new Episode 1 Pursuits, light 10 lanterns is one, there are a bunch of new recordings scattered over (only two I know of: Shondu's consulate near the Von Bach vendor and near Cass in crater bar).

Lanterns are a persuit, but what is with fireworks?
April 15th is the Armistice celebration for the end of Pale Wars, it was in the show, it's in the game.
Ah, that would explain it. I haven't watched the show yet, hopefully get to it tonight. You'd think they would add in some type of Episode Mission (like before), or something that would explain what's going on and direct you to the tasks involved in the pursuits.
