If this is infact a client patch, then it ABSOLUTELY has to be approved and handled by microsoft. Microsoft pushes out patches and updates to the Xbox Live service and its games at 2am PST. Stop waiting/crying and check back tomorrow.

Just because the server gets a content patch does not mean that the current client is incompatible with that version.

Sorry, but no. Client updates are being handled by Defiance's in-game patcher, not by the Title Update system.
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but from one of the past live feeds, it was said that Trion worked with Microsoft to ease the amount of hoops they have to jump through to patch the game, early in the development process.

maybe a client patch cant come out but most of the stuff is hosted on trions servers so they dont need any approval for that
I think a lot of devs are finding ways to work around MS's stubborness.
BL had their in-game voucher/code entry system designed for just such a reason. Keep MS out of their business.
