Massive drain?

I have been playing this game since launch and never had an issue before today. All of a sudden it is using up ALOT of my machine's resources. It is running my machine very hot (100 degree core temps) in a matter of minutes. I've tried other games (WoW, TOR, Rift, etc) and they are running fine, without the abnormal resource allocation. What's going on?

Checked for the usual dust bunnies and such? Last time you changed your thermal grease? Doubtful it's either one of those but never hurts to check.

Yeah, checked the usual suspects. Took the fan out of the laptop and ran a diagnostic on it, working fine as well. Don't know. :/
