Where are my episode missions?

Hey I watch these forums all the time, and finally decided to step in, read the thread you see all these idiots ganging up on one person. They showed their character first. By stupid comments I am talking about within this thread not sure if you are taking it personal outside of this thread.

People are such sheep they will be told they have to do this and told this is how that has to be, end of the day these missions should be available for everyone regardless or what is the point of doing a tie in. If I go on vacation am I going to have to struggle to get these missions done, or rush home to get them done because they might be taken down 20 hours before the show?

I get sick of stupid people making stupid post. No one here obviously has the sense to say anything, so I did, DeMoted.

It is people like you who feel entitled and that Trion owes you something for you buying the game. They gave you two weeks to do the missions and if you didn't then it is your fault not Trion's. Maybe you should have some sort of decent courtesy and admit that you didn't play them and lost out on the chance, but instead you will complain and complain until they bring them back and then complain even more because of something else.

This on the other hand is just an entitled person's views and I cannot stand it. I'm not a sheep, but I have enough dignity to not gripe about something that was clearly outlined prior and, in all honesty, is the practical way to do things. Inevitably I'll be on vacation, or sick, or God knows what and I won't have time to complete episode missions (I personally will probably miss several just because my wife doesn't want me playing games much anymore), but that's just how it has to be to maintain the tie-in.

The whole point of the tie-in is that these events are tied together on a TIMELINE, not just the world. Nolan and Irisa are already in Defiance so to see them in Paradise would be absolutely stupid and you'd have a lot of people scratching their head and asking what's going on because they can't figure out that it's not matching up in the timeline.

You can't just barge in here with no history and talking about stupid posts. You have five posts and most are directly accusatory or degrading. People haven't posted here, not because they don't have the sense, but because they have sense enough to know that was what they signed up for and that it is the best way to handle it.

That seems to be the issue. I didn't have any message apart from "Welcome to Defiance!" on XBox. Obviously information policy via the client differs between the plattforms and regions.

Apart from that is this discussion simply a waste of time. It boils down to people who don't need to start new characters and defend the removal of the episode missions on the one side and people who started the game because of different reasons after the removal on the other side. Neither side will convince the other one. Although it would be interesting to see how that changes when new races are introduced which would result in new characters not being able to do several episodes. Until then they are happy to have rewards over content other players can't access anymore.

If Episode content continues to be available only in a very limited timeframe and bears several otherwise unavailable rewards, this will most likely cut the playerbase. Especially a game with so little content as defiance can't withstand too much separation. But somehow I can't believe Trion created these missions for only 2 weeks - that would be a waste.

If they get a new race I'm interested in playing as, I'll make one and I'll live with not having the gear. It's not that big of a deal...

I didn't attack anyone until I was continually ignored, accused, and attacked...and by somebody who just barged with a brand new account no less! You cannot just drop in like that and start calling people names.

I'm not saying there are not issues with the patcher info since it has been absent from mine for roughly a week now, but you specificially mentioned 360 and I was just saying it wasn't specifically a 360 problem.

It frustrated me enough not being able to play it on the weekend, let alone no special editions here in AU (at least not that I could find) but then they remove it after the US show's release...

FACT: Most US game companies don't care about the rest of the world. So far Trion Worlds are one of such companies.

Again, I agree that not tying game content into respective regions showing of the episode is a bad move. The servers are already region-locked so making changes across the board really is inexcusable.
