Removing Episode Missions to Coincide With Show Will Kill This Game

It's great that you were able to experience everything; I'm super happy for you and now a bit jealous! I just want to be able to experience it as well and have all of the fun with it that you guys are.

I hope you get a chance! I honestly think they'll let people play them after season 1 is done. I don't think it'll be anyone's downfall. I have no interest in anything being held back forever from people, but I do appreciate what they are trying to do.

Then they could have done a better job of making it known, because it seems many of us have been surprised by it. I know multiple people playing and who have been playing more than me, and none of them informed me the episode missions were definitely being removed.

They did actually confirm that it would be removed by the 15th. The fact that it went live on the second and doesn't take long to do them put it's solely on the person for not doing it in the 2 weeks they gave.

Only if you found that 1 post buried in these forums. Otherwise if all you knew was what was posted on the news can be also interpreted as get it done before the show, not that it would be gone forever.

You could do a better job of reading. It's not some random players job to inform you.
Why the else would they have said have them done by the fifteenth?

** to those who say the tutorial featuring irisa and nolan will mess up the story..... The tutorial has no impact on the game. Its a tutorial for a reason. They added irisa and nolan so you could get a feel for the chracters who are in the show.

I like how I'm getting called a QQer and a whiner when I'm one of the few people not resorting to lazy attacks and name calling.

I simply feel this decision has really changed my gameplay experience negatively and will similarly do the same for anyone joining anytime after today. Especially when adding the quests back in will not negatively impact anyone who already has completed them due to how phasing works in the game. There's no reason for continuity or immersion to be affected at all. But oh well, that's just me actually putting constructive ideas out there. I'm sure there will be five more not even paragraph long posts after this calling me a QQer.

i agree it's a bad idea to remove content from mmo's.


one of th ebiggest problems with gw2 post launch development is that very very very little of the already substandard sized post launch content has been permanent.
