But you can have that same continuity without removing the quests. The constant new content with each episode, and smart phasing, fully facilitates that already. Removing these quests actually hurts the continuity because now new players are missing large parts of the storyline. However, if they were left in it would allow more people to catch up with and participate in the true continuity of the show and game as a combined experience.

I do sympathise with people who may have missed content, however, and believe that it would be pretty rough if they didn't reopen the content availability at the end of the season as a re-run.
Storyline is huge to me. I like to progress through each area, completing all of the quests and learning as much as I can about the story and experiencing it in the correct order. It's like watching a good TV show, you don't skip ahead to episode 5. If you do you'll miss a lot! As such, I didn't rush through and complete the Episode Missions as quickly as possible and missed out. Now, for me, a large part of the story is missing and you're saying I should have to wait at least 13 weeks until I can experience it in the way I was hoping to? Missing out on the start of that content has killed a bit of my motivation to keep going with it.

It bothers me that people are actually approving of the removal of in-game content. It has a definite air of, "Well, I got mine. You didn't? Why should I care?" I really hope they don't ever miss out on any of the Episode Missions due to work, life, or what have you.

And I'm not arguing just for myself, I'm also concerned about the experience of anyone who hasn't already started. This is just setting them up for a storyline experience that is much less meaningful.

Hopefully the devs can look at the ideas presented in this topic, and the quality of the argument from both sides, and come to a better decision on all of this.
Hey man I am with you 100% and everyone else that is for the fair experience for everyone and not just themselves. I really don't understand some of these peeps thinking. I would rather have more content for whatever even if I wanna f around and replay it because I noticed something in the show and wanted to see if it was in the game, than less content for no reason at all.

This whole immersion excuse is ridiculous. The tutorial will probably remain the same, I can't see why they would change it constantly. So yeah...why are you guys so afraid of someone else experiencing content and having the same content you already experienced available to experience again?

It's mind boggling how many people are really supporting taking out every episode mission before the episode airs. If anything last weeks episode missions should be available up until the next episode IMHO.

What if we get a cool mission where we get to ride shotgun and fire a bunch of stuff out of a tank and then that experience is just gone forever? Seems stupid.

Imagine the best missions in Grand Theft Auto vanishing because a tie-in show aired the next episode. Why are you people like this I can't understand lol.

How about we flip it, and say once the show airs it's tied to the game and once it airs on tv it's gone forever. Would that be ok? hmm?

There are so many things wrong with taking away content from a game that like Lost Algorithm stated already is light on content. Like I reaaally don't understand people being so against this, but then again there are actual real Hanson and Justin Bieber fans out there so anything appears possible.

hey I agree with the others that they should not remove the content. I myself did not get to finish them because I lost internet access for several days last week and when I finally get access back I still can't play do to a combination of server issues, hardware issues and a personal family emergancy.

Let me get this straight, you have time to create a semi-lengthy thread, respond multiple times, but cannot spend 20 minutes or so completing the episode missions which you have a week to get done if you feel you would like to?

No, it's their preferred way. I'm sure they would argue your way is stupid as well. Who are you to decide what people do or do not enjoy?

Same can be said about the people saying "you had plenty of time" who are they to tell me what I had time for? Dozens of people have provided valid reasoning for why they didn't complete the episode missions, yet that is not stopping people from telling us we can no longer "enjoy" the missions.

The trolls here don't seem to care about our "preferred way" of completing missions.

But let's be honest, playing an MMO, not reading any of the text, and just rushing head first into combat is pretty stupid.

why are ppl only concerned with themselves? what about others who missed this because of things they had to do and not lazyness, i missed this crap and its because i didnt know they were taking it down. so fine, its my fault i missed it. but you have no compassion for someone who had something go wrong and couldnt worry about playing a game? really?

i dont want to play games with ppl like you

I'm pretty sure the same way the TV show will come back sooner or later on TV, the episodic content will do the same.
They can add them back when the DvD are release for example.

However, I understand the idea of "episodic" content.

Simple case of procrastinating. Then blame everyone else but yourself. But hey we all knew people would miss it and fill these forums up with sob stories.
