Removing Episode Missions to Coincide With Show Will Kill This Game

Hmm I completed the episode missions but I find it odd they would remove them. They should at least add them back at a later date imo (at the latest at the end of the first season). They arn't removing things like side missions, right?

Dang i knew that they would add new episodes but that these would still be playable. I started a second playthrough thinking I had time to complete the missions....oh well 5 blues, 4 orange on my second playthrough I guess its a trade off.......

Yes, I totally waited until the last minute on purpose. It didn't have anything to do with the fact I have a demanding job and life that otherwise prevented me from getting as far as I wanted to prior to the premier. Please, pardon me for wanting to be able to full enjoy such a unique game and TV show experience as Trion was trying to accomplish. An experience they are sacrificing needlessly with this decision.



They said to make sure you complete it, not that it would be removed. It seemed more a, "Make sure you do it so you can be ready and up to date for the Premier." not a, "Do it, or you'll be missing out on one of the game's most unique features. Permanently."

Then don't get mad if you have other **** to do. I don't buy a game knowing I wouldn't have time to play it.

well thats great but i dont think its rly that great a game, i only bought it because its linked to the show, so... the episode missions are the most important part for me.

Then you should have done more research and learned how they are trying to keep the game and show connected and having it make sense.

The were part of the game up until the 15th which makes sense for the show. Doing research on the defiance site you would have learned about the connectivity. You had 2 weeks which 1 week included telling you to do them before the 15th. This post is ridiculous, if you missed it then it is because you did not do the missions not because Trion did not warn you they would go away.

A lot of people keep mentioning research etc, this game was advertised as being able to be a stand alone tv show and game, not running to the internet, sifting through dev logs, checking twitter, checking what others are saying because they might have heard something.

The lengths you people will go to, to make it seem like this is acceptable is astonishing.

I could be wrong, but I think they removed them because the game-world and the show-world are supposed to be one, and linked. They cannot have Nolan and Irrisa in San Francisco, and also in St.Louis (Defiance).

I think they're just trying to keep it as realistic as possible.

It is a stand alone. You do not NEED to complete the missions to understand the on-goings in the show, and vice versa. It is for people who want a little more out of their experience. If it wasn't stand alone, this would be the opposite, yes?

I disagree, and you should really try to broaden your vocabulary and stop using the word stupid. It just really looks poorly on you.
