It would have honestly killed one of the coolest parts of the series for me. The whole point of the game for me is the interaction between the show on a weekly basis. To have everything exist for all eternity would have just made it cheaper to me.

I would have, I like the overarching timeline congruency, I like it much more then less then an hours worth of side mission content and a ten second reference.

Getting a little zen here but.. would it still exist for you if you couldn't see it? If you had already done the Episode missions when they "aired" you would only every be able to see the latest Episode content as and when it is happening on the show. So.. I guess I'm not sure how it would affect you one way or the other?

    For those interested, check out

    Note the bottom entry.

It is on purpose that the stated dates of those last two entries correspond to the real world dates the media containing those events was released.

To those that claim the inability to experience the previous missions will have a negative affect on a player's experience of continuity: this only matters if a future in-game mission expressly mentions the PC's involvement in a previous episodic mission. This is not guaranteed, nor should it inherently be expected. It would be annoying if it is the case at this point, but it seems more likely that the episodic content is going to be broader and more topical, than some focused chain across several episodes.

Like note for now, the "new" content we're seeing is the Armistice Day celebration. We don't have some new mission (yet at least), we get to light lanterns and otherwise party as we see people do in the show.

I think its at least an interesting experiment, and those that complain about its removal are the same types that complain about live/seasonal events.

I think its a mistake that gamers have grown to be obsessed with "content" in the strict sense that a cutscene, a mission, an objective set, is somehow some sort of sacred thing the devs must provide for us. I find that in this game, with these episodic missions, the absence of content is content in and of itself. These missions are "happening" its "alive".

Show me some links or screen shots because I only check this forum and the announcements page is inexistent. Only a small part talking about patching.

    So where is it?

I think it's an interesting experiment and regardless of whether I like it or not, I accept that it was the decision that Trion made. It's closer to the concept of games as a service rather than as a product.

But as a rule, a game without content is a design document and a very small installer

Gone through the first number of posts and back tracked abit from this latest post, and is really silly that people think that removing content that links to a TV show is a good thing, or any content for that matter, holiday stuff is understandable but what Trion have done is stupid.

The game uses phasing for missions so there is no excuse on why the missions have been removed, for older players it doesn't matter since they have done them, newer players who also have an interest in the TV show may want to see how the game links into the show....nope can't do that.

Also can anyone link the post where the devs said the content will be removed or hinted at it?, havnt seen an such links yet.

With the launcher I play from the UK, the launcher I have from steam doesn't show dev posts if I recall correctly, haven't played last few days.

I want more content and now so do you!

    ...

did it work? are you ready to join me in a savage campaign where we will ravage the lives of men and children in the hopes of acquiring the magical and sacred "con-tent" that we are undeniably entitled to?
