I hope that the developers and the 'powers that be' behind this game will have a more understanding attitude towards casual gamers than you do exhibit. I guess we'll just have to see. I eagerly await the response to this situation.

What is mocking me the most is:
We Europeans have had a 2(!!) Weeks delay on the Ultimate Edition so we got roughly 3-5 Days (including delivery time) to play the game, do all released episodic missions and complete main mission to access upcoming content, that will be gone after a few days, too?
Seriously Trion, just don't show your customers this extremely huge middlefinger, i mean some people (count me in) have been paying for an edition, that got delayed just to loose on content, that was timed?
Not to mention all the downtime of the servers....
I really don't need a boost to gain more scripts, that aren't worth anything.
And don't forget the people who could likely buy the game BECAUSE of the Series. Yeah, nice job, i just payed the full price to get 25% less content.
The Episodic missions where the part of the game that made me look forward, and now the cut-off episodic missions will most likely be the part that most likely will make me throw Defiance into the garbage bin. At least i got a nice Messenger-Bag in my 2 weeks delayed ultimate edition.

Besides, when did.. I don't know.. coming to the forums and jumping in a thread to participate in a discussion become such a no-no with this development team? I mean, this was one of the things the Rift team excelled at. They could step in here at any time and explain things, or let us know they're discussing our concerns, whether they're going to do anything or not to fix them, etc.
The communication here sucks. I'm so fed up of dancing around that issue.

Oh, I understand. And certainly, it sucks. I am saddened that the systems for the delivery of the game were not well in place by the time they needed to be.
But I don't know what to tell them. The game is launched, the show is airing, its all running right now. This is where things are going to be. There's no turning back.
They've committed to creating a "living world," and at the moment that's what we have.
