Removing Episode Missions to Coincide With Show Will Kill This Game

So I just dropped $120 on this game and I can't even play the first missions -.-

And when the new species comes out and *I* have to start over, neither can I?!?! OOHAMGEE what will I ever do! Someone, QUICK, what's the number for whaampbulance?!?!

So any mmo ever created should also have the winter/haloween/easter events permanent in the game world? because some people might have missed them....

Or even on the subject of defiance, should they also leave the pre-order bonuses available for further purchases because some people might have missed those also?

Start playing wow, or gw2 now, and tell me if you are able to play/get all the content that was previously available in game...oh wait...you missed out...tough luck...

this practice has been going on in any mmo on the market, there is temp content that if you are not there you don't get to enjoy it, same goes for episode missions...on the bright side, you really didn't miss anything by not completing the episode missions (4 in total) it is just a series of defend/rescue/recover missions like any other, the only thing you missed is the ar that is ok, but there are many others in game that are equal or better than that one so no worries...and as for lore, i think you can actually youtube the whole mission series.

Now that we covered that, prequel missions have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with seasonal events.

1. Seasonal events typically have no impact at all on the plot of an MMO. They're generally weird, off-beat, and completely non-canon. This content is the polar opposite of that concept.

2. Seasonal content is scheduled to return. This is not.

They are not "first missions", really. They are more of side missions that have nothing to do with the game's story.

It is still content that I paid for, how does doing this benefit anyone? Side quests? These are the quests associated with the TV show correct? How the actuall **** are they side missions?

The current Episode missions in the game will be unavailable to play after the first episode airs. The idea is that the timeline of the show and game are in sync, so once the first episode airs it won't make sense for Nolan and Irisa to still be in the Bay Area
