This probably wont work, but try it anyway:
Open Internet Explorer, click tools > internet options > connections tab > Lan settings > disable any proxy
I got mine working. Just had to go into safe mode and let it run over night. Not sure how long it took, but I know it hadn't done it after an hour. But it was done in the morning.

I hibernated my computer last night and when I resumed today the patcher said "Update Failed" and then proceeded to update properly. Not sure what happened, but extra information is always good.
The 72 hours is almost upon us!!... Still no words.. I hope they do not reply the way that I have read about on other posts... "We are busy...(blah blah blah) ...." No fix.
Thats because if you think they are going to answer here to a issue that has to do with yoru system in general your not understanding how this works. Either file a ticket or talk to live chat if you was wanting a quick fix you would have got on live chat. The forum section here is more for large scale bugs that effect everyone this one does not, So you need personal service. LIVE CHAT.

Yes... Please do read back a little and grasp the situation. If you HAD you would have seen that I said I would be updating this with information that I receive from the tier 2 support... please go and have your negative ranting elsewhere now ffs.
I have noticed however.. I put the Patcher.exe in a new folder and it has "fixed" the issue of the client disappearing and that white box with a auto-updater in it. It now lets me sign in and attempt to update although it fails horribly. So I dont think this is a viable "fix".
Yes i have not been able to Download the patch from start to finish over 22 times now... (was 19 attempts this morning).
Good luck to you they do not care about those who have paid and cannot even get in the game.
