    It stopped failing for me when I ran the launcher as administrator, hope that works! I also had to set my firewall to low even though I have all my ports open with DMZ in order to connect to the servers in-game.

    wow.... this is getting stupid now... 4 days to get a response from Trion and they throw the freaking basic troubleshooting crap at me in the freaking e-mail...

    Stop wasting my ****ing time!!!

    Now... since I did say I would forward the information, for those who have not looked at this.

    1. Start then right click on 'Computer'
    2. Select properties.
    3. Click on 'Advanced System Settings' on the left side of the window that pops up.
    4. Click on the 'Advanced' tab of the 'System Properties' window that pops up.
    5. Click on the 'Environment Variables' button.
    6. Under the 'User variables for' section change the TEMP and TMP variables to:
    %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp
    7. If the variables don't exist then add them
    Variable Name : TEMP
    Variable Value: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp
    Variable Name : TMP
    Variable Value: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp
    8. Click Ok to accept the changes.
    9. Reboot Windows.
    10. Attempt to connect to the game again.



    Hope that this will get some of yall playing!

    I will be waiting for a better answer......

    ..... Waste of ****ing life... same god damn troubleshooting steps they had me do in the ****ing chat!!! Now they are just saying it through the ****ing email!!

    DaFalk... So I just finished tier 2 support.... IM GOING TO TIER 3!!!!... Tier 2 had me do everything that chat support did... only over e-mail.. and FOUR DAYS LATER!!.... I cant wait to see what Tier 3 has to offer.....

    Well.... I think I have been shoved into the back of the closet with the other dirty secrets... The last person to contact me was Senior GM Regnall and that was four days ago. Starting to think that I will not be hearing from Trion support again....
