Like the show so far, really like most of the characters. The CG seems rough in some spots, but if the show continues and gains a bigger budget it may end up with super awesome CG stargate style. Heh, stargate started with people in frog helmets.

Loving the show, loving the game, anxious to see how they tie in together next week
I was hoping to see more alien techs. More votan blas rifles and auto fraggers and BMGs and awesome rockets like Torque had. but no, we got G36s and MP5s and slightly futuristic human guns. But nothing like we see in game.
Also i was hoping that right before Nolan yelled "FIIIIIREEE!" They would teleport to the center of town, not be able to move and have a giant "Failed to connect to Defiance servers" message floating above their heads
Pretty good pilot if u ask me. Can't wait til next week to see it ties in wit the game
Your post made me chuckle but I think it may have been funnier if the big weapon had a "Connection to server timed out" error. Can't complain about the weapons used in the premier though. It was only the first on what would appear to be at least a two season show (since they are already filming season two). I thought the show was ok. I've seen better but I have to keep in mind it was only a pilot.. Hopefully it gets better..
Overall, I'm quite pleased. had some rough spots of course, but still, more than worth keeping interest for a while. While i really don't like the Indogene alien design, I did crack a smile a couple times at the Doc's charming bedside manner.
