Defiance crashing while Firefox is open?

Is anyone else having this issue? The game will run ~15 minutes before crashing. Afterwards I'll get a Firefox error as well.

The game runs perfectly fine up until the crash, and then just blurps out. I have yet to experience a crash while I'm not running Firefox in the background.

Sounds like when you open firefox you then use up all the RAM left to be used on your computer and it then results in a crash. Try using another browser (Chrome) for example and see if the same happens.

Not me. I usually have Firefox running with multiple tabs open while Defiance is going. What are you system specs?

I have 8gb of DDR3 RAM, so I'm fairly positive it's not that. Also, it's just Firefox and Defiance crashing. TS3, Pandora, Steam, etc, nothing else crashes.

Firefox is a massive memory hog, so thats probably why

Nothing wrong with firefox,it isn't a memory hog,people just like to spread false information.

yeah it is a memory hog when it uses 572 MB of RAM just for a few windows, I use Chrome it uses far less memory

I have 9 tabs open right now, and I'm only pulling 192. I have no idea where you got that number from.
