I for one thoroughly enjoyed it.. There was 1 bit that confused me but i cannot for the life of me remember it..

That's what pilot's are. They are cheaper made for less danger of loss. What part of "Syfy" Pilot is it that these types don't get? Not one pilot ever matched the production values of season 2. It's just how you "start up" a show.

I know that's only one example but there are others. The guys on the bikes coming into the battle made no sense at all etc.

How did this not make sense? Irisa took off with their roller and could have either ran into the Spirit Riders or went looking for them and convinced them to help fight the Volge. How can you say this made no sense?
