Well, can we get some official word on this patch "fiasco"?

I keep hearing the connection of patch with show even though it is just bug fix. This is not a content update so what has it got anything to do with show being aired?

supposedly, and this is just hearsay, the patch is going to include the episode content as well. it's going to be larger than usual because of all the fixes.

rephrasing, this patch is the usual weekly episode content update we are normally going to get. due to all of the launch issues, a sh*t-ton of fixes were added onto this patch, making it a much bigger patch than normal.

I remember the official blog post saying we'd get a huge patch this week, and then another huge patch roughly two weeks later. both of which will have fixes and episode content.

it's more about people taking an approximation as an ironclad fact. they said "around the 15th", and at some point I think they said "roughly the 15th", and people took that to me that it was definitely, 100% without a shadow of a doubt going to be exactly on the 15th. which isn't exactly what they said.

I knew a chick that did that with me...used to drive me insane. I'd say "maybe" I'd be somewhere at a certain time or on a certain day, and she'd take it as an ironclad guaranteed promise. and if something happened and I happened to arrive late or had to postpone she'd be all like "but you made a promise!!" and threw a hissy fit. annoying as hell. I had to literally start prefacing everything with "I'm not promising anything but I'll try."

is Trion going to have to start doing that with us?

heres how i see it they have made the patch and it is know in microsoft hands as they had to test it etc... so for xbox it will not be a regular patch through the game interface when you load up the game but rather A TITLE UPDATE when you first load (i.e boots you from xbox live until you either dl it or dashboard it)

So blame msoft for it being late if anything , but sledge stated in the notes Monday or Tuesday. But of course it goes to midnight monday and everyone is like "wheres the patch why isit late derp derp"

PC would have gotten it already if that was the case. I think that the patch is bugged and they are trying to fix it.
