"One of those is scheduled to hit Monday or Tuesday for PC and XBOX 360 and as soon as possible for PlayStation 3 following that (it’s logistics, I can’t change it)." from oveur's very own blog, now how about we stop all this non-sense where we claim people are just making theyr own wild assumptions based on the much earlier info from oveur that said AROUND 15th.
He said Monday or Tuesday aka as 15th or 16th, People should definatly defend trions right to delay patches if they feel like defending that, however lets not base our whole arguement around the clearly incorrect assumption that the person you are argueing with is incorrect, when infact you are the one baseing your arguement on incorrect information.
Personally I am totally fine with a delay, My only issue with the currently delay is the complete lack of communication, which is completly unlike trion from what little ive learnt of them.
Hmm...something just clicked.
JMadFour may be on to something.
Having dealt with Trion and their patches for Rift's lifespan, one thing I've always noticed.
Their content patches always had names. Their bug fixes, did not.
Now, we're getting the patch: Defiance: Patch 1.010 - Sharks (in winter solstice)
A named patch.
I'm guessing there's a slew of content in there as well as bug fixes.
So, let's let Trion iron it out and release the patch when it's ready.
If it makes things worse, then we can grab our virtual pitchforks.
Deal?
xD
ALSO, there's sharks in the waters of San Francisco bay...wonder if that means anything, ****************************EDIT****************** *******
SPOILER! Bad Taaltos BAD!
Problem with this however is the C&H competetive is currently down, and likely a part of that patch, and since we need C&H for the episodic pursuit... well go figure..
If it were held back for content though, then there is no reason it couldnt be released today.
Deal! *Already sharpening his pitchfork*
Honestly, I don't mind if the patch is today, tomorrow or on friday. But it'd be great to know what they're doing right now. Saying nothing is probably much worse than saying: "hey guys, sorry it takes so long. We had some problems and are fixing them right now, might take us another day." or "We're ready and waiting for M$ to approve da shieeet" or "Stealthpatching now!"
Sorry to dissapoint People, but they already specifically said they were going to focus on bugfixing first and the first DLC is even being posponed, because of this.
And I have to agree. There are currently so many issues and bugs in this game. I rather have them focus on fixing that first ASAP! then adding even more buggy content.
