it's more about people taking an approximation as an ironclad fact. they said "around the 15th", and at some point I think they said "roughly the 15th", and people took that to me that it was definitely, 100% without a shadow of a doubt going to be exactly on the 15th. which isn't exactly what they said.
I knew a chick that did that with me...used to drive me insane. I'd say "maybe" I'd be somewhere at a certain time or on a certain day, and she'd take it as an ironclad guaranteed promise. and if something happened and I happened to arrive late or had to postpone she'd be all like "but you made a promise!!" and threw a hissy fit. annoying as hell. I had to literally start prefacing everything with "I'm not promising anything but I'll try."
is Trion going to have to start doing that with us?
