Synergy mods can go in any weapon and that weapon will gain the mods perks, if you put the synergy mods in a weapon that has the same synergy you will get the perks from the mods as well as the weapon synergies for however many synergy mods you have in it.
i wish i could answer your question but i cannot seem to find 4 of the same synergy mods to attatch to a weapon to test it out

u can also get syngery mod cache from lockbox vendors for keycodes but its random and im pretty sure it only gives 2 or 3 types of synergy
Seems everytime I try those it ends up being Brutal or Run n Gun
yeah those are the only 2 i've gotten and what ive been told was those are the only 2 that drop from those , but trion only knows.
upon further questions into the synergy modding, i discovered you can buy a synergy mod cache in the lock boxes. so it will give you some randoms. i guess i never noticed how to actully activate them till now.

yeah thats what we were syaing but u only get 2 types of synergy from that adn there are like 10 types in the game u get from elsewhere
If you wanna know, the other come from Hotshots, if you place gold you have a chance to get synergy mods.
