If you've signed in the last few days, I think you'll quickly find the player base has grown far smaller then that. Most people dont have the patience to deal with this, and I can assure you mine wears thin as well.

Or, they've reduced the maximum number of people on each shard to compensate for lag?

The game is making major strides. They are working all the time to fix anything and everything bogus still happens on the long term games like WoW and others. This is the first massive launch on consoles and get you idiots think everything will be perfect on launch. If a game involves using servers and the Internet to function these bugs will always exist. Open a book... Educate yourself a little on the topics before ranting.

As I am typing this reply I want to know why the TRION President Pope has not showed up on my doorstep with muffins and free in game titles. This is highly unacceptable that I am even having to type this why you are patching the game! You developer folks should have patched all the holes before they appeard. You should have found these solutions before the problems even arose! Seriously, I expect that after I am done typing this I will see a new forum post listing the problems that I will complain about that I have not even thought of yet. You game developers better get your act togther or I am going back to Colecovision and taking my gaming legion of followers with me!!!

Maybe they should hire you to solve their problems, oh smartest one. You never know how something is going to behave when introduced to thousands of people, I don't care how good you are at coding. And it's pretty naive to think that they didn't test it at all.

Im going to have to go ahead and disagree with you on that. This is why companies like Blizzard have open beta servers. These are servers that are open to the public that are TEST SERVERS. They allow you to test stuff like this out so that when you do launch it, it works correctly. Some companies learn from their mistakes... others... I guess not so much.

Wow! That is the best you could come up with? Revert to making lewd comments and whine some more. I would like to have a job with Trion but as I don't have the training in the IT or Graphics Design field all I would do is hamper their ability to fix these issues. Although if I did work for them I think I would start working on banning all the whiners, naysayers and rude individuals such as yourself from not only the forum but the game as well. I'm mean you have already paid for the game why not just take your money and run, since you seem to think that is what they are doing. I have no problem sharing with you that I am 30 years old, married with 2 kids and my "daddy" hasn't bought me anything since I was the age you are acting. Keep on whining and crying till the game comes back up then jump on it like your life depends on it, cause we all know that is what you are going to do. Just like all the others on here saying they are going to sell the game or quit playing. Although I would much rather you just quit playing so I can have a better gaming experience.
