Game Error after patch ( Xbox )

Microsoft requires software to be certified by them prior to releasing patches/updates. It was tested. This problem could be something as simple as a corrupt file during the upload to the Microsoft distribution server.

Not only that but I already went through the Xbox update for this patch and it still did not work. Even deleted and reinstalled, so I hope this next "hour" fixes things. Guess I have some more time to work on the storage room.... lol

Yes its frustrating guys and yeah it pisses me off as well. But look at the big picture. Once they get all these bugs fixed it will mean better mmo games in the future. I mean really, how many mmo games have we as xbox live users got to play?
With that being said let them do there trial and error. Once they get a handle on this the next game from trion should be epic. Then the one after and the one after that.
With the release of the new next generation consoles around the corner I myself am happy about this mmo. It just goes to show things to come and it should be great.
Like I said, I am a little upset but its not the end of the world. They will get it. At least they are on here letting us know every step of the way what there working on and how long things will take. I have had problems with games before and the devs just didn't give a rats *** about the consumer, ie = US!!!! One major example is Treyarch. Those guys are total douch bags.

For all of you whining, this is copied & pasted straight from the DEFIANCEGame twitter account: "Patch 1.010 is going out at 7:00 AM PT today for all platforms and regions. Expected downtime is 1 hour." They freaking SAID it would be down. Stop your b*tching.

Im going to have to go ahead and disagree with you on that. This is why companies like Blizzard have open beta servers. These are servers that are open to the public that are TEST SERVERS. They allow you to test stuff like this out so that when you do launch it, it works correctly. Some companies learn from their mistakes... others... I guess not so much.

Again, pretty naive to think that they didn't test at all...
