I'd hardly call that fanatical. I think I'd describe fanatical as maybe wall papering one's room with posters of the product, maybe tattooing their entire body in tribute to the product.
As far as this product not working. I'm not sure if you've played this game the past week, but it's worked for me and my friends almost flawlessly. Sure there was a bug or glitch here and there, as with most games, and almost every day there was a server reset (for no more than 30 minutes most of the time), but I'd say for a good 85% of the time I've had this game I've been able to play it.
